That is why people call her Kushmanda.
The Form of Maa Kushmanda
The form of Maa Kushamanda is highly divine. She has eight arms in which she holds a kamandalu (water pot), bow, arrow, lotus flower, nectar pot, discus, and mace. Maa also carries a rosary of siddhis. She resides in the solar sphere, and the radiance of the sun comes from her energy.
The Legend of Goddess Maa Kushamanda
The manifestation of Maa Kushmanda remains extremely mysterious. When there was nothing in this creation, the divine cosmic energy took the form of a woman. That woman was Maa Kushamanda.
