Yogini Ekadashi Vrat Katha (Story)

In ancient times, King Kubera ruled over Alkapuri and worshipped Lord Shiva. A gardener named Hem Mali worked in his garden and brought flowers daily from Manasarovar. One day, Hem got distracted with his wife and forgot to deliver flowers. Upon learning this, the king cursed him to suffer separation from his wife and leprosy.

Wandering in misery, Hem eventually reached the ashram of Sage Markandeya, who learned of his suffering. The sage advised him to observe the Yogini Ekadashi Vrat. Hem followed the instructions sincerely. As a result, he regained his health, purified his body, and reunited with his wife to live happily again.
