Shiv special chadhawa

Shri Mahakaleshwar of Ujjaini is one of the twelve famous Jyotirlingas in India. The glory of Mahakaleshwar temple has been described in detail in various Puranas. Starting from Kalidasa, many Sanskrit poets have emotionally enriched this temple. Ujjain used to be the central point for the calculation of Indian time and Mahakal was considered the specific presiding deity of Ujjain. The god of time, Shiva, in all his glory, reigns eternally in Ujjain. The temple of Mahakaleshwar, its spire rising into the sky, a grand façade against the sky, evokes primordial awe and reverence with its grandeur.
