Bilkeshwar Mahadev Mandir: Shiva in the Forest

December 12, 2025 Friday

Hidden in the forests near the Har Ki Pauri area, Bilkeshwar Mahadev Mandir is a serene abode of Lord Shiva. It is believed that Goddess Parvati performed severe penance here for thousands of years, eating only Bel-Patra (Bilva leaves) to win Shiva as her husband.
