Khajrana Ganesh Temple, which was built by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar, is one of the major Hindu temples in India. Regular donations of gold, diamonds and other valuable gems are made to this temple. The gate and outer wall of the sanctum sanctorum are decorated with silver, on which various sentiments and festivals are depicted. The eyes of the idol are made of diamonds, which were donated by a businessman from Indore. The upper wall of the sanctum sanctorum is also decorated with silver.

This is the first place in the country where Bajrangbali is decorated with Hinglu and Jasmine oil. The idol of Gabi Hanuman is considered very miraculous. The statue of Gabi Hanuman was taken out from the stepwell. Temple priest Pandit Rajkumar Das told that the origin of Shri Gabi Hanuman has a different story. Many years ago, Shri Gabi Hanuman had given a dream to the local resident here that he should take me out of this stepwell. After which he was taken out of the stepwell and made to sit here. When Hanuman ji was taken out, his appearance was red. At that time his name was Gabi Hanuman. Below the feet of Gabi Hanuman is the statue of the clan goddess of Ahiravan. It is said that no one gets affected by having darshan of Gabi Hanumanji. Any devotee who fasts on Saturday and Tuesday and makes a wish to Hanuman ji definitely gets fulfilled. Till now there is no devotee from here who has gone empty or whose wish has not been fulfilled. After any devotee makes a wish, he lights the Gabi Saheb lamp made of flour for 21 days and when the wish is fulfilled, he then lights a lamp counting down from 21 to one
