Vijayadashami is one of the most auspicious day of the year. People also call this day Dussehra. This festival is called Dussehra because Lord Rama was victorious in the war and killed Ravana. However, it is believed in many places that on this day, Maa Durga had killed Mahishasura and she got the name Mahishasurmardini. On this day, except rituals like marriage, all other activities can be performed. Dussehra puja method

– It is best to worship Lord Ram and Maa Durga on Dussehra.
– Always perform puja in Vijay Muhurta in the afternoon. It is believed that the Ravana was killed in this auspicious time.
– Take a Sankalp before worship.
– To receive the blessings of Lord Ram, recite Ram Raksha Stotra after lighting the lamp.
– Recite Hanuman Chalisa or Bajrang Baan
– Worship Maa Durga, recite Durga Saptashati.
– Reciting 32 sacred names of Maa Durga.
– Sprinkle water energized in the name of Lord Rama all over the house.
– If you have any weapons in your house, then worship them also.
– Clean up old things.
– Also Do Puja for your vehicle etc.
– Light a lamp outside the house in the evening.

How to worship Aparajita Devi?

It is said that Lord Ram had worshiped Maa Aparajita and sought her blessings for victory over Ravana. Aparajita is a form of Maa Durga. For Puja od Aparajita Establish a Chowki of Durga Mata. You have to do this puja in Vijay Muhurta. Offer blue or white Aparajita flowers to the Maa. Light incense, lamp and offer kheer or other sweets to the Goddess. If possible, recite the stotra of Mata Aparajita. If you are not able to Chant this in Sanskrit, then its Hindi translation can also be recite. Along with worshiping Maa Aparajita, also worship your weapons.

Some Special Remedies for Dussehra

– On Dussehra, light a Diya under the Shami tree and pray for victory in all four directions.
– Starting from the day of Dussehra, feed jaggery to the cow for about 51 days. All money related problems will be solved.
– As soon as you see the Neelkanth bird, consider it as the form of Shiva and Make your wish. It will definitely be fullfilled.
– Donate a broom in a temple, this will solve all money related problems.
– Donate needed items to the poor. This will solve your upcoming problems.
– Recite Sunderkand to weaken opposition.
