The Hindu New Year begins with Gudi Padwa. It also marks the first day of Chaitra Navratri. According to Vedic texts, this day is considered the most powerful as it is believed that Lord Brahma created the universe on this day. Gudi Padwa 2025, or Hindu New Year, is celebrated with an auspicious oil bath ceremony, followed by decorating the main entrance with garlands, performing rituals, and hoisting a flag called Gudi.
