Kokilavan Shani Dev Mandir in Kosi Kalan is a unique pilgrimage site. Legend says that Shani Dev (Saturn) performed penance here to get a glimpse of Lord Krishna. Krishna appeared as a cuckoo (Kokila), hence the name Kokilavan.
