Worship of Goddess Chandraghanta and Get Desired Blessings
The Chaitra Navratri begins on March 30, and on the third day of Navratri, April 1, devotees will worship mata Chandraghanta. Goddess Chandraghanta is known to quickly bless her devotees. She has a crescent moon on her forehead, shaped like a bell. Goddess Chandraghanta is believed to govern the Manipura chakra and, according to some beliefs, she sustains the universe.
The Appearance of Mata Chandraghanta
Mata Chandraghanta has a mesmerizing form. Her radiance is equal to that of a thousand suns. She is golden in color, resembling the brilliance of gold. She is depicted with ten arms, holding different weapons like a lotus, bow, sword, kamandalu, trident, mace, and other divine tools. She is in the Abhaya Mudra, meaning she grants fearlessness, and anyone who seeks refuge in her will have all their wishes fulfilled.
Peace and Prosperity Through Worship
Worshipping Mata Chandraghanta brings relief from all types of troubles. If you are facing an increase in enemies, it is recommended to worship her. The bell’s sound during her worship is significant. Some scientific studies suggest that the bell’s sound helps improve concentration and dispels negativity from life. During the worship, focus on visualizing the form of the goddess in your mind’s eye.
Mata Chandraghanta’s Favorite Color
In some depictions, the goddess appears ready for battle, but she is also considered a compassionate mother. Her first form is Shailputri, and her second form is Brahmacharini, where she is seen meditating to attain Lord Shiva’s blessings. After attaining Lord Shiva, her third form is that of the Adi Shakti. Goddess Chandraghanta favors the color red, so red flowers and clothing should be used during her worship.
