In many places, people also worship their weapons on this day. In some regions, Mata Siddhidatri is regarded as an incarnation of Maa Saraswati, and musical instruments are worshipped.
Significance of Kanya Puja
On the 9th day of Navratri, Kanya Puja is also conducted in many places. In this puja, nine little girls are worshipped as goddesses, and their feet are washed. They are served with kheer, halwa, and various sweets. Devotees give them gifts to make them happy. It is believed that the blessings of Maa remain in the house where the young girls leave happily.
