Maya Devi Temple: The Navel of Sati

Maya Devi Temple is one of the oldest temples in Haridwar and a Shaktipeeth. It is believed that the heart and navel of Goddess Sati fell here. Goddess Maya is the Adhisthatri Devi (Presiding Deity) of Haridwar, which was formerly known as Mayapuri.
