Panchmukhi Hanuman Worship – Instant Solution in Times of Crisis

Lord Hanuman is known as the remover of all life’s troubles. He is one of the seven immortals (Chiranjeevis). According to belief, when a person is surrounded by difficulties or cannot find a way out of their troubles, they should worship Lord Hanuman in his Panchmukhi (five-faced) form. Worshipping Panchmukhi Hanuman also helps remove all the flaws from the horoscope.

Lord Hanuman’s Panchmukhi form is also a tantric representation. According to some mythological stories, Hanuman took this five-faced form to save the lives of Lord Rama and Lakshmana from Ahiravan.

Why Did Lord Hanuman Assume the Panchmukhi Form?

The story behind Lord Hanuman’s Panchmukhi form is widely known. It is said that during the battle with Lord Rama, Ravana realized his defeat and sought help from his brother, Ahiravan. Using his powers, Ahiravan put all the vanaras (monkeys) to sleep and took Lord Rama and Lakshmana as captives to the underworld (Paatal Lok). When everyone regained consciousness, Vibhishan understood the situation and instructed Hanuman to go to the underworld.

Lord Hanuman’s Journey to Paatal Lok

Hanuman ji reached the Paatal Lok in search of Lord Rama and Lakshmana. He first defeated Makardhwaj, who, according to some stories, was Hanuman’s son. He then proceeded to battle Ahiravan, who had lit five lamps in the five directions. It was said that whoever could extinguish all five lamps would be able to kill Ahiravan. Seeing this, Hanuman took the Panchmukhi form to extinguish the lamps and defeat Ahiravan.

Significance of the Five Faces of Hanuman Ji

The Panchmukhi form of Hanuman is said to have five different faces, each representing a specific power and serving a distinct purpose for his devotees:

First Face – The Monkey: Worshipping this face brings victory over enemies.
Second Face – Garuda: Worshipping this face removes all troubles and obstacles.
Third Face – Varaha (Boar): This face brings fame, power, and long life.
Fourth Face – Narasimha: Worshipping this face removes difficulties, fear, and tension.
Fifth Face – Hayagriva (Horse): This face grants the fulfillment of desires.
