Located in the heart of the Panchavati area, Kalaram Mandir is an architectural marvel built entirely of black basalt stone. It is the most important Ram temple in Nashik, marking the spot where Lord Ram lived during his exile.

Significance: The Black Idol
- The Deity: The idols of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman are carved from black sand, which is why it is called "Kalaram" (Black Ram).
- History: The temple was built by Sardar Rangrao Odhekar in 1792. It is said that 2000 workers took 12 years to complete it.
