Shree Navshya Ganpati: The Fulfiller of Vows

Situated on the scenic banks of the Godavari river at Anandwalli, Navshya Ganpati is famous because the idol is believed to grant wishes ("Navas" means vow). The temple was built by the Peshwas in the 18th century.

Significance: The Peshwa Legacy
- History: The temple was built by Raghoba Peshwa and his wife Anandibai in 1774 to celebrate the birth of their son.
- The Idol: The idol is very attractive and has its trunk turned to the right side (Siddhivinayak).
