Shri Ram Ghat: The Spiritual Lifeline of Ujjain
December 12, 2025 Friday
Ram Ghat is the oldest and most sacred bathing ghat on the banks of the Shipra River. It is the epicenter of the massive Simhastha Kumbh Mela held every 12 years. Legend says that Lord Ram performed the last rites of his father, King Dasharatha, at this very spot.
