What is Spiritual Yantra? What are the benefits of some Yantras?
Scholars believe that keeping the Spiritual Yantra of deities in the place of worship and worshipping them yields greater results, because the deities themselves reside in the Yantras. Therefore, like mantras, Yantras also give quick accomplishments. It can also be said that Yantras are the pictorial representations of mantras. A Yantra is the body of the deity, and a mantra is the soul of the deity.
Spiritual Yantra- Graphical Represntation
The meaning of Sipiritual Yantra is considered a medium or instrument that holds consciousness or alertness. These are geometric figures made of shapes like triangles, inverted triangles, circles, squares, pentagons, and hexagons. Mandala means a circular figure charged with cosmic energies. By daily worship, practice, and viewing of the Yantras, a person fulfills desires and receives the grace of the chosen deity. Keeping these experiences in mind, our ancient sages created Yantras for the benefit of all. Keep in mind that one should place Yantras in the place of worship only after consecration, then they become fruitful.
In Bhuvaneshwari Krama Chandika, Lord Shiva tells Goddess Parvati—“O dear Parvati! Just as a body is essential for a living being and oil is essential for a lamp, in the same way, Yantras are essential for deities.” The same idea appears in the text Kularṇava Tantra. Its verse is as follows—
Yantramityāhur etasmin devaḥ prīṇātiḥ । śarīram iva jīvasya dīpasya snehavat priye।।
