Shri Chintaman Ganesh Temple
An ancient temple of Lord Ganesha is located in the religious city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. This temple is at a distance of 6 kilometers from Mahakaleshwar Temple. This ancient temple is famous by the name of Chintaman Ganesh. There are three idols installed in the sanctum sanctorum of this famous temple of Lord Ganesha. Three statues of Gaurisut Ganesha are visible as soon as you enter the sanctum sanctorum, here Parvatinandan is present in three forms. First Chintaman, second Ichchaman and third Siddhivinayak. According to beliefs, this temple was established by Lord Shri Ram himself. All the worries of the person visiting here go away and he becomes worry free. A huge crowd of devotees gather here on Wednesdays. The priest says that to fulfill their wishes, devotees tie a votive thread here and also make a Swastika upside down. Any one thing like milk, curd, rice and coconut is offered for the vow and when that wish is fulfilled then the same thing is donated here.
