She also lets her two companions, Shakini and Dakini, drink her blood. However, in truth, she is a goddess of nourishment. When her companions asked for food and nothing was available, she offered them her own blood. One of her names is Chintapurni. She immediately removes the worries of her devotees. This puja is launched only after considering the auspicious time (date, day, constellation and Panchak etc.).
